Problem: Groundwater Hydrostatic Pressure
Solution: French drain
Basement flooring in specified areas will be broken out approximately 1' in width from foundation. This newly formed trench will be graded to one designated point where a two-foot well will be excavated and a automatic submersible pump installed. Inside this newly formed trench, a bed of ¾" washed gravel will be leveled. A 4" perforated pipe will be installed inside a trench. Gravel will then be leveled over perforated pipes and the basement floor will be cemented. All areas will be left clean and in order.
Problem: Flooding Window Well
Solution: Window Well Drainage System
A 4" PVC pipe will be connected from flooding window(s) well to a dry well. Or diverted downgrade away from home.
Problem: Poor Property Drainage
Solution: Surface Drain & Leaching Fields
A series of catch basins and perforated piping which can be diverted to a dry well or downgrade away from problem area.
